One-Stop Business & Employment CentersThe One-Stop Business & Employment Center joins providers of employment, education, and training services — at one convenient location — to offer businesses and job seekers easy access to a network of resources at the local, state and national level. This comprehensive system provides a wide variety of services and programs to help our customers achieve their employment, educational and career goals. Business ServicesWe serve the business community by helping local employers connect with qualified job applicants. Members of our Business Service Team partner with area businesses to offer Human Resource assistance in areas involving recruitment, worker retention, training, and more. We also partner with economic development organizations to ensure that new and existing businesses will have access to a quality workforce. In addition, we offer valuable local labor/market information to help businesses make informed choices and decisions. Job Seeker ServicesPartners of the One-Stop Business & Employment Center are dedicated to helping job seekers achieve their educational and career goals. Highly trained attendants and career specialists offer job seekers counseling and referral to a variety of educational and career training opportunities. Our resource room enables job seekers to use computers with internet access, fax machines, and telephones for resume preparation and job searching at no cost. New Assistive Technology equipment ensures that our programs and services are accessible to all job seekers, especially those with specific needs. Partners in ServiceThe One-Stop partnership consists of employment service, education and training agencies; vocational education and rehabilitation agencies; community colleges; universities; unemployment insurance agencies; plus not for profit and for profit organizations. We also partner with economic development organizations to ensure that new and existing businesses will have access to a quality workforce.
